MetroIntelligence Economic Update by P. DUFFY CPI rises less than expected, rising 0.4 percent in October and 7.7 percent year-on-year The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) rose 0.4 percent in October on a seasonally adjusted basis, the same increase as in September, and was up 7.7 percent year-on-year.  The index for all items less food and energy rose 0.3 percent in October, after rising 0.6 percent in September, and was up 6.3 percent year-on-year.  The increases were less than forecast. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/cpi.nr0.htm   Housing affordability continued to fall…
