DUFFY CPI up 1.0 percent in May and 8.6 percent year-on-year The CPI rebounded 1.0% in May (up from 0.3% in April),and was up 8.6% year-on-year, marking a new 41-year high. Year-over-year, the energy index rose 34.6% (the highest bump since 9/05) and the food index rose 10.1% (the highest bump since 3/81).
