TS Renovations remodeled a detached accessory dwelling unit in Milton, Vt., with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a one-car garage. At 900 square feet, the space now has nine-foot ceilings and abundant natural light, making it feel much larger than it is.

The kitchen’s earthy tile walls offset the refined colors of the cabinetry. The cabinets are stacked to the ceiling, supporting daily living by providing ample storage. The quartz island adds a luxurious touch and enlarges the space. Steel appliances offer a sharp contrast to the space’s color palette.
A sliding door feeds into a covered porch extending into a patio with a fire pit, lounge area and hot tub, overlooking expansive views of the surrounding landscape. A concrete retaining wall wraps around the fire pit and doubles as built-in seating, capped in bluestone
