Walters said that nostalgia is expected to become the primary focus in interior design. Rather than focusing on new, hyper-modern fixtures, brand-new furniture and white, silver and gray homes, Walters said the next decade will be all about restoring a sense of individuality in homes, often connecting to a homeowner’s roots.
