West Shore Home acquires Atlas Home Improvement

West Shore Home, one of the nation’s leaders in housing renovation and remodels, announced the acquisition of Michigan-based Atlas Home Improvement.

The deal adds over 50 team members and a 23,200-square-foot facility to West Shore Home’s national operations, which currently serves 32 states.

Michigan’s housing stock is 10 years above the national median age of a home at 53. There is high demand and a market opportunity for remodeling services.

While bath and shower remodeling accounts for most of Atlas’s current business, West Shore Home will also introduce replacement windows and doors to the southeast Michigan market.

“Atlas has built a loyal customer base across southeast Michigan, and we see a strong platform to grow on,” said B.J. Werzyn, Founder and CEO of West Shore Home. “This region has the right housing profile and an experienced local team already in place. We’re eager to put our technology and operating model to work for the homeowners they know and serve.”
